Delivering The Story To America's Classrooms

The United States Army is a proud sponsor of For Love of Liberty: The Story of America’s Black Patriots and will personally deliver this important story to America’s classrooms. Our sponsorship creates the unique opportunity to have an Army representative visit your school to present a shortened version of this documentary.

Each visit will:

• include a 25-minute version of the documentary
• feature a lesson plan and discussion guide developed by two accomplished college professors
• create an engaging, impactful history lesson for students
• raise awareness and educate students about the extraordinary prices that have been paid in our nation’s fight for liberty
• encourage students to have an open dialogue about what they learned from the video
• expose students to a relatively unexplored aspect of our nation’s history
